Our

Commitment to your child

At Eban Rock Kindergarten, we know childhood is a treasured time. We believe it is our responsibility to provide environments and experiences that capture the joys of childhood, nurture each child’s individual growth and development, and pave the way for success in school and life.

Eban Rock

Here is what sets us apart from the rest !

We offer a unique early education experience built on several years of expertise, and on what working families have told us they want and need for their children…and for themselves. Child care and early education isn’t just what we do – it’s who we are.

Our motto ‘Rooted and Built-up’ is derived from the scripture and we strive to anchor each child on a firm foundation – spiritually, emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually.

Playgroups

Playgroups offer a gentle introduction to structured learning through play-based activities. Children learn essential social skills, sharing, and cooperation while engaging in fun, age-appropriate activities. Playgroups foster a love for learning and provide a supportive environment for early exploration and discovery.

Nursery 1

Nursery 1 builds upon the foundations laid in playgroup, focusing on further developing social skills and independence. Children begin to explore basic concepts such as colors, shapes, and numbers through interactive play and simple educational activities. Emphasis is placed on nurturing curiosity and building confidence in a safe and nurturing environment

Nursery 2

In Nursery 2, children continue to expand their social and emotional skills while being introduced to more structured learning experiences. They engage in hands-on activities designed to promote cognitive development, language acquisition, and fine motor skills. Nursery 2 prepares children for the transition to more formal schooling by fostering independence and a love for learning.

Reception

Reception classes are where children begin to transition from play-based learning to a more formal education structure. Here, they develop reading and writing skills, foundational mathematical concepts, and are encouraged to express their thoughts and ideas more independently.

Year 1

In Year 1, children are introduced to a more rigorous academic curriculum while still maintaining an element of play. They learn to read and write with greater proficiency, explore basic science concepts, and develop problem-solving skills.

Year 2

Year 2 is a pivotal year where children consolidate the skills learned in previous years. They become more confident readers and writers, tackle more advanced math, and start to learn about the world around them through project-based learning.
